LGP (Temperature and humidity test)
At 40℃, in all the luminous zone, light emerge uniformly, No obvious visual difference
At 0℃, panel use PS light guide plate, in the middle of luminous zone, dark area appears
When temperature back to 2.31℃, dark area still exists in PS LGP; when back to 10℃, dark area disappears slowly
When temperature below 0℃, the panel use PS LGP appears dark area, bad user experience.
LGP (UV accelerated aging test, ISO 4892.3-2006 )
After UV test, panels using PS LGP turn yellowish,
Our panel using PMMA LGP still work well, good uniformity.
Panel use PS LGP, optical parameters like CCT and SDCM changed a lot, large lumen decay.
Potential risks, panel use PS LGP yellowing fast, especially when panel used in the room with sunshine, then lumen output will decrease and looks dark and ugly, non-uniform.

Why use PMMA LGP or PS LGP?
1. we use 4014(L40mm*W14mm) LEDs, then can match the light guide plate 3mm or 2.3mm perfectly. For luxury panel use 3mm PMMA before, and popular QT panel, use 2.3mm PMMA LGP now.
2. If using 2835(L35mm*W28mm) LEDs, then should use light guide plate 3mm at least and cost goes up
The LGP we use is silk printing by Japanese ink, Nagase brand, no drop after using 5years, panel uniformity is very good. If using normal PS material LGP, cheaper price, panel looks very vague and hazy when light up.

2. Use alloy wire and iron holder to make LEDs, alloy has poor ductility, may get broken when heat changes, which makes LED defective
3. Short lifespan, fast light decay.
4. LED load is 63~104%, fast lumen decay.

LED working load=100/160=63%

Remark: The way to test if the LEDs use copper holder or iron holder :
Use magnet, the LEDs which are on magnet use iron holder.
